The Archaeas - Cosmic Unknown - Goner - 2020 - Punk band from Louisville, Kentucky who impressed everybody with their debut 7" 'Rock'n'Roll' on Total Punk. This is the best from their later released debut full length.
The Spits - Kop Kar - Thriftstore - 2020 - the new long awaited album from punk legends the Spits. Great band, great release on their own label.
Spodee Boy - Rides Again - Goodbye Boozy - 2021 - Spodee Boy aka Conner Cummins from Nashville TN. Bunch of great releases to his name and known for some other great bands like Snooper and his early hardcore days with a shitload of bands.
Reality Group - PIB - Electric Heat - 2020 - Group from Winnepeg, Canada! One of my favourite songs I heard in the year 2020. This is taken from their third release a CS called 'Music For Fools Vol 1' So there's hope for more, real since 2016.
Snooper - Microbe - Computer Human - 2020 - Another band from Nashville TN. as you might have read it involves the great Conner Cummins. Four amazing songs on a 7" with this being one of the best songs I ever heard.
R.R.C. - Toxic Beat - Warttmann Inc - 2019 - Trash from Australia, this was taken from the CS 'Full Of Goo' and also to be found on the album 'Collected Findings..' released this year on Erste Theke Tontraeger.
Poker - All in - digital - 2021 - Four songs by this band from Minneapolis, Minnesota closely related or might be the same band as Belly Jelly. Follow up next time.
The XO`s - Hardest Band in Cutecore - Ketchup & Mustard Industries - 2020 - Pronounced hugs and kisses from Chicago. Recorded by Erik Nervous at Mat's house, thee Mat Williams that is known for lots of great like Liquids and Coneheads, and being very productive so it seems.
The Sweatys - Nervous in the Service - self released - 2020 - Pretty new stuff from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This was the opener from their debut 'Warm Up'. In the meanwhile they released 'Stretch' and 'Drills'. So no waiting around get to it!
Liquids - Shitty Fucking DNA - self released - 2021 - 'Life Is Pain Idiot' 27 strikes from Mat Williams's Liquids. Plenty more where that came from, Indiana!
Zoids - Splatterhouse - Warttmann Inc - 2020 - Bunch of Zoids, my best guess this is from Australia. It seems closely related to Satanic Togas, plenty of stuff out there like a split with Silicon Heartbeat and they also have a CS on Goodbye Boozy.
Olde Boi and the Sounds in his Head - Circles - self released - 2020 - Third release from Raul aka Olde Boi. This is the opener of a 4 song CS.
Pensioner - Stranger in my House - Under Heat - 2021 - From the best coast of Australia a new band filled with members of Kitchen People and Ghoulies. And maybe Eugh! is on board as well as one of the 8 songs is 'Nice Guy III', a song he started. Great synthpunk as yours truly loves it! This song has the best sound ever. More next time!

Alien Nosejob - Airborne Toxic Event - Anti Fade - 2020 - Second full length this year by busy body Jake Robertson. This record 'One Again the Present Becomes the Past' is slightly more straightforward and fast paced but equally as good as the earlier this year released 'Suddenly Everything Is Twice As Loud' 
Smarts - Thinking out loud - Anti Fade - 2020 - Long awaited never expected full length from Australia's finest. Single sided CS in 2018 got us very excited and well 2020 gave us a lot of terrible but also this new found classic, 'Who Needs Smarts, Anyway?
Erik Nervous - Living in the Woods - Violent Pest/ Computer Human - 2020 - Talented kid from NE Indiana, seems to be doing a lot of different stuff these days. The new album 'Bugs' is his best work to date! 
Bat Math - System Destroya - digital - 2020 - Punk from Portland. Two digital releases so far that could use a proper release. This was the opener of '2', their second. 
Prison Affair - Entre Barrotes - La Parca - 2020 - Punk from Barcelona, Spain. Earlier in the year they released their first 7", now 4 more songs on a CS. 
Cretin Girls - Up & Down - In The Shit/ Goodbye Boozy - 2020 - Re-released on CS in 2020, originally released in 2013. Interesting three piece from Gainsville, Florida.
Metdog - Carrot or Stick - Angry Dog - 2020 - Big horny guitar sounds and yelly verses and choruses from Melbourne, Australia. Taken from their first full length CS 'Metdog Blues'.
Collective Hardcore - Panic Attack - Goodbye Boozy - 2020 - Split with Disco Junk both songs have been featured before. Collective Hardcore deliver three songs so two bands, five songs and only one person responsibe; Billy Twyford.
The Freakees - Perfect hair - Goodbye Boozy - 2020 - Punk from LA, California. As great as scary! Bunch of releases, this was taken from a split with R.R.C you'll hear them in a few.

Real People - Psychic War - self released - 2020 - Four songs on a single sided CS called 'Give Guns to Hong Kong'. Real People are from Florida.
R.R.C. - Bizniz World - Warttmann Inc - 2019 - Research Reactor Corp from Australia. This was taken from their split with the Freakees. Last year they released their first full length 'the Collected Findings Of..' on Televised Suicide Records.

The Marketts - Out of Limits - Warner Bros - 1963 - Written by Michael Z. Gordon, first released as Outer Limits after the TV show with the same name. However they got sued for ripping off the four note motif from the Twilight Zone. The song got renamed and became a famous hitsong and allround classic, a perfect way to start thee show.
Les Robots - Scratch of the Astrocat - Bickerton - 2020 - Our favourite band from outer space treats our humble small world to a second brilliant full length. In my opinion it's even better than the first one, this being one fine example.
No Springs - Surfin´ The Black Lagoon - unreleased - 2020 - One or two guys doing a basic surfsound backed by a drum machine an approach that holds the stamp of approval by yours truly. From LA, California.
Fifty Foot Combo - Decompression - Drunkabilly - 2016 - Ton of records to choose from, the most famous surf and exotica band from Belgium. This song comes from one of their latest records close to 20 years after their first. 
Mikrowelle - Buzz A. - Kamikaze - 2003 - Rock'n'roll hifi gangster Rajko Gohlke is Mikrowelle and is believed to be located somewhere in Germany. Two full lengths released, this is taken from his debut 'Twang Boom Tschak...Peng'.
The Spotnicks - The Rocket Man - Karusell - 1962 - One of the more well known surf acts of the world. Famous for wearing spacesuits on stage. Released a lot, sold even more from Sweden formed in 1961.
Takeshi Terauchi & The Bunnys - Dark Eyes - King - 1969 - A traditional by Japanese instrumental rock legend also known as Terry. At age 81 it is said he is still active!
The 427´s - The Spy Invasion - Stingray Sounds - 2015 - Surf inspired by the movie side of things. Very well executed as you can hear on two released full lengths, this was the opener of their debut 'Mavericks'. Canadian. 
The Taikonauts - Attack - Production Impossible/ Dirty Witch - 2013 - Surf inspired by the outer space kinda things, powerful stuff from France. Two records, this was the opener of their latest to date 'Mysteriis Alienis Mundi' 
The Kilaueas - Space Echoid - All Score Media - 2005 - From Berlin, Germany a household name in the surf scene with plenty of great releases to their name. This is a brilliant one from their record 'Profesor Volcanova'.
The Seatopians - Isle of Cyn - unreleased - 2020 - Looks like a pretty new surfband released their debut 'Underwater Alley' on Altered State Of Reverb in 2019. This was taken from 'Off the 50th Parallel' which still is looking for its official release I guess. Be on the look out for this band from Boise, Idaho.
The Apemen - Hard & Sole - Vulcan - 1994 - Taken from one of my favourite releases ever 'Are you being Surfed?' a 10" from our vile monkees from Eindhoven/ Rotterdam.

The Counts - Night of misery - Wam - 1965 - From Warren Ohio comes this fantastic piece of moody misery. Appeared on the great Garage Punk Unknowns vol 7 compilation
The Kryng - Wasting time - Bickerton - 2019 - 21st century nederbeat with touch of shoegaze from this powertrio on their 4th LP called So many girls volume 2

The Emergency Stairs - Nothing but your soul - Burnett´s - 2019 - Fantastic garagepunk song from one man band out of France. Somewhere to be found on youtube and bandcamp, highly recommended

Disco Junk - I'm not good with numbers but I know which tram I'm on - Goodbye Boozy - 2020 - A regular at my playlists, If not Disco Junk than some other of the many projects from Billy Twyford. Make sure you get this hell of a song, should be out on vinyl soon.
Glue Eater - Pet bird - Self released - 2019 - Fingers crossed for more releases from this band out of Melbourne in the meantime another great song from their digital album.
T.L.B.M - Don´t see it - 5 Star Limo - 2019 - Travis Lees Beat Movement from California with a series of great cassettes. This is taken from T.L.B.M vol.5 and yes 1,2,3,4 came before that, dig in!
Landline - I can´t - Digital Regress - 2018 - Another song from this absolute fave band and somehow I feel there won't be any new ones. Hope Zoe Zag and Matt Ferrara prove me wrong. 
T.J. Cabot & Sonic HZ - Overcompensation - digital single - 2020 - Great song! Tj Cabot backed by Sonic GZ together create a very powerful synth sound. Not the usual for T.J cause we first started loving this guy when his previous demo came out backed by thee Artificial Rejects. More next time. 
Olde Boi and the Sounds in his Head - The casket - Goodbye Boozy - 2020 - Amazing stuff from Orange, California. Ten songs on this CS and for some reason this song stood out for me. All was done by Raul. 
R.M.F.C. - Reader - Anti Fade - 2020 - New amazing 7" by the Rock Music Fan Club from NSW, Australia.
K.H. Mirth - K.H. Happy Hour - Koff - 2020 - From Leicester, UK. Members from thee Ludds and Earth Rod taking a step back to the basics. A very specific sound, this was my favourite song of the 10 song debut album. Think they also own the label.
Gee Tee - Glam dagger - Goodbye Boozy - 2018 - An older one from one of many personal favourite bands. The title inspired me to start a new fanzine called 'Glam Trasher', will keep you updated.
Buttzz - Tony - Self released - 2016 - Last playlist we had Dummy another band from the genius mind of Sean Albert. Now it seems like the time to throw in a song of one of his other bands. Two releases out there, this was taken from the last 'Summer Luvin'.
Concrete Lawn - Concrete lawn - Urge - 2018 - Hardcore from NSW, Australia. Awesome vocals, great sound, on the CS there are 4 more songs.
Mainframe - Employee - Blow Blood - 2020 - Taken from 'A Long Time Alone', compilation of songs made by Australians during thee isolation. This was a song collaboration between Billy Sean 'Research Reactor Corp' and Ishka 'Belly Jelly'.
Modern Needs - Manner of articulation - Chatroom - 2020 - Punkrock band from SF, they started 2013 and have plenty of stuff released. This was taken from their latest 'Survey Of The Animal Kingdom'. All songs were written, recorded and performed by Vinnie Vacuum.
Eugh - Nice guy II - Self released - 2020 - Australia, Vincent did everything! 7 shitty songs he wrote that special week, let's hope he has more weeks like that. This is taken from 'the most brilliant man alive'.

The Mark Vodka Group - Boy (I´m allergic to you) - Drunken Sailor - 2020 - From Nova Scotia Canada featuring members from Booji Boys, Negative rage and Blood Beach comes this fantastic debut Lp with some great songs like these 2. First one is a long lost track from the Ramones and the other should have appeared on Singles goign steady from the Buzzcocks.
Action Swingers - Incinerated - Wiiija - 1992 - Somehow also Ned Hayden´s Action Swingers came to mind. This is from the mini LP More Fast Numbers. Killer tunes. Perhaps "I´m sick" would have been more appropiate for these times, but trying to avoid the obvious.

Link Wray and His Ray Men - Rumble - Cadence - 1958 - The bad news Bob Dylan once referred to it as the best instrumental ever, he might be right though, it's a classic. Powerful in its simplicity. It got banned in the USA as 'Rumble' sounds somewhat like a gang fight and back then Americans weren't so much into violence..yet.
The Bell Peppers - The Spray - Self released - 2013 - Rock'n'Roll, R&B, Surf, DooWop, Beat combo from Manchester, UK. Mostly active between 2011 and 2013 couple of self releases all looking pretty good.
Sir Bald Diddley & His Right Honourable Big Wigs - Bustin' Bikini's - Alopecia - 1992 - The man with numerous aliases and other bands he is known for like the Kneejerk Reactions and as Hipbone Slim. This was his surf venture mid-nineties with several excellent releases.
The Apehangars - Kung flu - Dreamy Soundz - 2015 - Surfrock from Forth Worth, Texas. Just one very great 10" got released.
The Milk Lizards - Genuwine Zeebra Head - Self released - 2018 - From the north east coast of the UK, Sunderland to be precise. A three piece with two releases to their name, this was taken from their latest called 'Planet Beach'.
The Reluctant Aquanauts - Chrome Czars - Self released - 2015 - Surf from Chicago, this was from their first and only release called 'the High Voltage Sounds Of...'.
The Volcanos - Whirlpool - Estrus - 1996 - Great band from Royal Oak, Michigan released two full lengths and a couple of 7"''s. This was taken from their debut 'Surf Quake'.
Wadadli Riders - Dwell at 10 - Green Cookie - 2019 - First instrumental band started in the Caribbean (Antigua) involving two Italians one none other than Lorenzo Valdambrini who after this band continued as Surfer Joe. Two ep's and a full length called 'Made in Antigua'.
Reef Rider - Body Surfin' - Self released - 2003 - Belgian band, twelve songs on a CD. Two covers of which I chose their version of the Centurions song.
The Akulas - Rustines - Green Cookie - 2017 - Another band from Belgium with a more sixties hammond driven sound. This was the title track from their latest.
The Dynotones - Beneath the surface - Mad Society Music - 2005 - From Orange County, California a great place for some great reverb. Couple of exciting releases, this was taken from their second record 'Beach Party A Go-Go'.
Bloodshot Bill - Peeling - Hi-Tide - 2019 - The man from Canada more known for his wild greasy rock'n'roll delivered a 7" with 4 killer instrumentals.
Tremolo Beer Gut - Clayton's hotrod - Crunchy Frog - 1999 - Most well known surfband from Danmark. Bunch of releases, this mindblowing instrumental was taken from their debut 'the Inebriated Sounds Of the Tremelo Beer Gut'.
