The Echos - Bajjad - W&G - 1964 - Covered by many originally put on this earth by Australians; the Echos. Billy, Allan, John, John And Dennis literally gave their name to this song.
Monstros do Ula Ula - Arghhhh - Groovie - 2007 - Grabbed this song from the 'Brazilian Surf A Go-Go: the Attack of the Tiki Waves vol. 1, nice moody pounding surfer from these Mostros from Bazil.
The Dead Rocks - Center of the universe - Monstro discos - 2007 - Another famous surfrock band from Brazil, this track was the opener of the aforementioned Brazilian Surf comp. but was also released on the 'Tiki Twist' 7" they put out in 2005. They have plenty more exciting releases.
Pata de Elefante - Satuanograso - Monstro discos - 2006 - Brazil and surf is one great combination not the most productive band but this a great song from their second full length 'Um Olho No Fosforo, Outro Na Fogulha. Not sure what that means although If I had to guess I'm sure the bandname has something to do with elephant feet or shoes.
The Evanstones - Nastronaut - Sharawaji - 2017 - Great opener from their second release 'Music From The Last Band On Earth' and just so you know the last band on earth is from Seattle Washington.
The Fathoms - Fathomless - Atomic Beat/ Musick - 1996/2017 - Originally released more than 20 years ago, re-released in 2017. Great band from Boston Massachusetts.
The Wave Chargers - Attack of the Mexican foot - Q Sound/ Sonic Twang - 2016 - Surf from Paris, France this powerful song is taken from their debut. After that their was another 7" called 'Strike Again' on Sonic Twang, and this year they released their debut full length on Green Cookie Records.
The Apemen - Crash - Vulcan - 1994 - These apes from Holland have one impressive discography but let's start with the opener of their classic 10" released 25 years ago 'Are You Being Surfed'.
The Gamuzzinos - Amazonian dialect - Saturno - 2016 - 100% pure surf their only 7" vinyl record to date. A mix between San Francisco and Sevilla as it seems to be something between Dario Garcia and Will Finn. Before this there was bit more frat rock'n'roll cassette called 'So Guud' on the same label.
The Hollywoods - Dresscode: Wooden suit - Savage - 2001 - Extremely loud and instrumental surf from Orebro, Sweden. A powerful way to end another half hour of surf!
