KHAL 98.9FM - 014 - Victor Reverbs

The Surf Teens - Steel pier - Sutton - 1963 - Youngsters from the coast of Atascadero, California. Originally released way back, re-issued couple of times on Bacchus Archives. Classic Record!
Katatonics - Victor III - Self released - 2018 - Surfabilly from the midwest, lots of things happening in Indiana that's for sure. Exciting fast paced opener from their digital album 'Operation Neptune'.
Ted Boys Marinos - Bikini beach - Otitis Media - 2018 - A nice classic approach from these guys from Brazil. Opener from their debut record 'Surf Sessions'.
Los A-Tunes - Suburban Reverbs - Grabaciones Morediscos - 2018 - Released on CDr very limited edition. Powerfull song from these Tunes from Zaragoza, Spain. 100% DIY.
The Metalunas - Ballistic bikini - American Pop Project - 2000 - Short lived band of Mark Brodie who you might know from his Japanese band the Saboteurs or Mark Brodie & the Beaver Patrol. This venture I like the best as you can hear with this fine exmple taken from their debut 'X Minus One'.
Surfpatrouille - Bee´s knees - Kamikaze - 2001 - Active between 1999 and 2007 this bunch from Marburg, Germany had some great efforts put to vinyl. This catchy frantic surfer is my favourite.
The Mach IV - Teke, teke, teke - Halakahiki - 2003 - Surf from the Bay area with a great sound probably cause all the players come from equal great other bands. This is from their only release on CD called 'Eleki'.
The Treblemakers - Lawnmower drag '99 - Dionysus - 1999 - Great surf from Canada this track is the opener from theird third and last record 'the Treblemakers vs. the Doomsday Device'. And apparently they shared their bandname with tons of crappy bands.
The Volcanics - Kanack attack - Double Crown - 2011 - Still very active Volcanics founded in 2001 from South California. Couple of releases mostly on Double Crown, this year even a new record called 'Forgotten Cove'. This song was released in 2011 as 7" and is the opener of their second full length 'the Lonely One'.
The Cops - Spaghetti western - Black Death - 2019 - Brandnew surfband from Holland. Debut 7", three songs with a great and powerfull sound. Hope there is going to be more soon!
The Bonzers - Kamikaze - Juvenile Delinquent - 2011 - Perfect sound mixing subtle with aggressive vibes, this song is taken from 'Loud, Fast and Dirty'. As good as it gets from France and this half hour of instrumental surf.
