KHAL 98.9FM - 007 - Smokin´ combusta
The Velvetones - Mr X. - Bacchus Archives - 1965 - Released on vinyl somewhere in '65, their last of three 7"s. Re-released on various comps like 'Desert Island Treasures' and 'Surf Age Nuggets'.
The Out of Limits - Project tobacco - Self released - 2017 - Named after one of the most recognizable and well known surf hits, this bunch from Greenville North Carolina claim their fame with this CD 'Drinking Scotch From The Skull Of John The Baptist With The Gunman From The Grassy Knoll' and for sure with this song!
Cannibal Mosquitos - Lost mojo - Dirty Witch - 2011 - Mosquitos from France, this one is my favourite from the 8 track record with the kinda weird title 'Cannibal Mosquitos Surprise Attack'. They dress the part!
The Krontjong Devils - Mustang - Kuriosa - 2014 - From the watery flatlands of the Netherlands comes one of the longest active surfbands of the world and with their own unique OetSound one of thee best.
The Mobsmen - Mediterranean Blitz - Double Crown - 2013 - Summer sounds from these masked men from Norway. Plenty of amazing songs/ records to choose from this is taken from 'Fraternitas Aurum Factorem'
Satan´s Pilgrims - Satan´s theme - Empty - 1994 - Legendary band and who else could claim this song originally by the Rondells, not only do they claim it but own it! From the 'At Home With..' it had multiple releases and I think they just released some new work on Double Crown.
The Wet Ones - Dark circles - Self released - 2019 - A nice and moody surfer from these three Wet Ones out of Burlington, Vermont. Not much I can tell you but eight songs seem to be released as 'Tombstoning'
Via Combusta - Zero point - Self released - 2019 - Preview of their upcoming debut 7" and I must say it sounds promising to say the least.
The Jagaloons - Bongo banana - Sharawaji - 2019 - It wouldn't make or break any party, the Jagaloons from Albany, New York just released their debut 'Ruin the Party' and is filled with pretty straight forward surf instrumentals which surf me just fine.
The Monsters from Mars - Driving the monkey to the airport - Tic Tac Totally - 2006 - Nothing too traditional but exciting nonetheless this is the best of 4 songs on this EP, where you can also find a pretty ok instrumental 'Toxic' Britanny Spears cover.
The Surf Trio - Loose lips - Moxie - 1988 - Legendary surfband from Oregon, USA. Plenty of amazing releases dating from the mid eighties till the end of the nineties. This is the most heartfelt emotional slow surfers that I have ever come accross with, a nice end!
